49ers Finish Fall in 13th
Beach in 'Pretty Good Shape' After Fall Competition

December 5, 2005

LONG BEACH, CA-- The 49er men's golf team finished the fall campaign ranked 13th in the NCAA Pacific Region, which sends a minimum of 12 teams to the NCAA West
Regional.

"We're in pretty good shape" said head coach Bob Livingstone. "New Mexico State got a one shot win over UNLV in the last event of the fall or we would have been inside that number (12). We are in great shape to advance to the NCAA Playoffs next May, which is always our goal".

Ryan Panichpakdeee (Long Beach/Wilson HS) has three times finished in the top-15 in the fall, including a fifth place showing at the 49er Classic in October.

The 49ers are next in competition at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii on February 22-24.
