Golf banquet set for Saturday at Smooth's Sports Bar & Grille

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State men's and women's golf banquet is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at Smooth's Sports Bar & Grille in downtown Long Beach. The event will honor both teams for their achievement this season and celebrate senior All-American Kay Hoey's career and the women's first-ever Big West Conference Championship. This will also be an opportunity for fans to wish the No. 47 ranked women's team good luck on their trip to the NCAA Tournament that will take place May 7-9. The program is scheduled to begin with a 3 p.m. reception, followed by a buffet and program at 3:45 p.m. Cost for the event is $25 per person and $20 to sponsor a player.
