Men's Golf Welcomes Bryce Kvick For 2018 Class
Kvick joins Tyler Schafer among those committed for next season.
Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State Men's Golf has announced that Bryce Kvick has accepted an offer to come to the Beach, and will join the team for the 2018-19 season.
"We are very excited to welcome Bryce to the Beach," said LBSU Men's Golf Head Coach Michael Wilson. "We feel strongly that his work ethic, love of the game and competitive spirit will be a great fit here at Beach Men's Golf."
A native of Carmichael, Calif., Kvick is the three-time MVP of the Capital Valley Conference, competing with Del Campo High School, and has had a decorated junior career. Kvick was the individual medalist at the 2017 Sally Pini Invitational, and dominated the field in the 2017 Sacramento Junior County Championship, winning the tournament by eight shots at 8-under par.
Kvick took second place in the Eddie Hogan Cup, finished in the Top 10 at the 2016 California State Junior Championship, and tied for 15th at the 2016 Big "I" National Championship.
He joins Tyler Schafer of Wilson High School from Long Beach as part of the recruiting class joining the team in Fall 2018. Schafer signed during the early signing period.
