Gonzalez Tied For 49th After Day Two At NCAA Stanford Regional
Final round concludes on Wednesday at Stanford Golf Course
STANFORD, Calif. -
Andres Gonzalez carded a one-over-par 71 in Tuesday's second round of the NCAA Stanford Regional, tying for 49th place at Stanford Golf Course.
Gonzalez improved by four strokes from Monday's opening round to move up four spots in the standings. The Long Beach State sophomore finished the day with a 36-hole total of six-over 146.
Brad Dalke of Oklahoma sits on top of the leaderboard of 75 players at 11-under and holds a three-shot lead heading into Wednesday's final round.
Ninth-ranked Baylor leads the field of 13 teams at 18-under as the Bears lead regional host No. 4 Stanford (-11) by seven shots.
Final round play is scheduled for Wednesday, with Gonzalez teeing off at 10:01 a.m. (PT) from the 10th tee.
