49ers Tied For Third At OGIO-UCSB Intercollegiate

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Freshman Agostino Milazzo is 1-under-par through 36-holes of play at the OGIO-UCSB Intercollegiate, leading Long Beach State to tie for third at Sandpiper Golf Club.
LBSU is tied for third with Air Force at 7-over 583, after shooting a 287 in the opening round and a 296 in the second. Tournament host UC Santa Barbara leads the field of 10 teams with a 3-over 579 as the Gauchos holds a three-shot lead over Sacramento State (+6) in second.
Milazzo carded a 72 in the opening round to tie for fifth with four birdies and four bogeys. The Riverside, Calif. native came back in the afternoon round with a 71 with five birdies and four bogeys.
Casey Halliday of Utah sits on top of the leaderboard at 4-under 140, leading the field of 67 players one stroke over Keenan Nelson of Fresno State.
Final round play concludes on Tuesday, with the 49ers teeing off at 9:20 a.m. with the Gauchos and Hornets.
