Long Beach, Calif. - A tradition returns as Long Beach State's men's basketball coaching staff will once again hold a preseason meet and greet, this time heading to Legends in Belmont Shore on October 30, 2013. Held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the event will be upstairs and is open and free to the public.

The 49ers also welcome USC and Creighton to the Walter Pyramid, along with a packed Big West slate of games. The 49ers were picked to finish fourth in the Big West in the upcoming season in the Media Preseason Poll, but also received five first place votes.

The season begins on November 9, when Long Beach State hosts Hawaii Pacific in the annual Homecoming Game on campus at 3 p.m.
