Travel packages offered by LBSU for Texas and Duke men's basketball games

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach State athletic department is offering travel packages to the 49ers' games at Texas and at Duke this December. Beach fans can join Dan Monson and the 49ers in Austin, Texas, on December 7 and in Durham, N.C., on December 29 as the 49ers face what should be nationally-ranked opponents. The travel packages for both trips include round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, a game ticket and a pre-game reception. The Duke trip also includes a Durham/Chapel Hill Day Excursion with transportation. The Texas package costs $500 per person double occupancy and $550 per person single occupancy and departs Long Beach on Monday, December 7, returning Tuesday December, 8. The trip to Duke runs $775 per person double occupancy or $875 per person single occupancy, departing Long Beach Monday, December 28 and returning Wednesday, December 30. Reservations for both trips can be made by contacting Long Beach State associate athletic director Adam Wald at (562) 985-7441 or awald@csulb.edu. Priority registration goes to 49er Athletic Club Director's Circle Members. The deadline to register is Friday, September 25.
