Season tickets renewals for 2012-13 men's basketball season underway
April 17, 2012
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Season ticket renewals for the 2012-13 Long Beach State men's basketball season featuring a home game against six-time national champion North Carolina are underway. Tickets can now be purchased for the two-time defending Big West Conference champions by fans that had season tickets last season through May 30.
Tickets range from $165 to $375 per seat with a donation to the 49er athletic club required for courtside, baseline and sideline seating. The schedule will include 14 home games, with a November game against North Carolina highlighting the schedule. LBSU will also host a BracketBusters game in February and nine Big West Conference games.
To renew tickets visit www.longbeachstate.com and click on "Tickets", then "Tickets Online" before logging into your "Black and Gold Account." Tickets are also available by calling the ticket office at (562) 985-4949 or by visiting the ticket office in the Walter Pyramid.
Season ticket holders and Director's Circle members (donors of $1,500 and above annually) have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for the North Carolina game during the renewal process. Purchases for the North Carolina game will be limited to four tickets in chairbacks or in section 111, but there are unlimited tickets available in the south end zone or in the temporary seating locations.
Season tickets for donors of $100 and above, alumni, sponsors and former student-athletes go on sale June 1. Season tickets sales for the general public begin June 18. In order to keep the family plan ($225 for four tickets) affordable to families, it does not include the North Carolina game, but these ticket holders have first-priority to those seats and can purchase them with their renewal.
Current Director's Circle members who do not hold season tickets may purchase single-game tickets to the home game against North Carolina. Single-game ticket prices are $100, $70 and $60 each depending on the seat location. If you would like to increase or provide a contribution to receive this benefit, please call 562-985-7441.
