Levin, Booker And Yussuf Named All-Big West

Long Beach, Calif. - Gabe Levin’s first-team selection highlighted three players who were selected as All-Big West for their achievements during the 2017-18 season.

Levin has put together an outstanding senior season, finishing the season in the Big West’s top four in both scoring and rebounding at 18.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game respectively. Levin has scored in double-figures in 22 straight games and currently ranks 14th in single season scoring at the Beach with 569 points this season. Levin has now twice earned All-Big West accolades after earning honorable mention honors as a sophomore.

Temidayo Yussuf earned all-conference honors for the second straight season, named honorable mention after another strong conference campaign. Yussuf averaged 10.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in league play, leading the Beach in rebounding in Big West action and starting all 16 games.

Finally, Deishuan Booker was named Honorable Mention All-Big West after his first season at the Beach. Booker led the Big West in assists at 4.6 per game, and was second on the team behind Levin in scoring during league play, averaging 11.6 points per game and leading the Beach in both steals and assists on the year.
