The 49ers open the 2012 NCAA Tournament at the Rose Garden in Portland Thursday when they play New Mexico at 1:10 p.m.

2011-12 SEASON • Enters senior season second all-time at Long Beach State in rebounds, seventh in field goals made and eighth in scoring and free throws made ... Needs 36 rebounds to become the all-time leader in LBSU history ... Ranked as the 16th-best mid-major power forward in the country by Bleacher Report..

2010-11 SEASON • Named second-team All-Big West Conference ... Joined the LBSU 1,000-point club ... Finished the season averaging 13.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, while making 50 percent (182-of-364) of shots ... Ranked second all-time in single-season rebounds (344) at LBSU ... Ranked 19th in the nation in double-doubles and rebounds per game ... Finished season second in the Big West in rebounding and defensive rebounds (7.2 rpg), while ranking fourth in offensive rebounds (2.9 rpg) and sixth in field goal percentage ... Improved those numbers in league games averaging a team-best 13.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, while making 62.3 percent of field goal attempts and 72.7 percent of free throws ... Led the Big West in field goal percentage for the season, while ranking 13th in scoring, seventh in rebounding and sixth in defensive rebounds (4.27 per game) ... In conference games, led the league in field goal percentage, while ranking second in rebounding, eighth in scoring, and third in both offensive rebounds (2.38 per game) and defensive rebounds (5.44 per game) ... Earned Big West Conference Player of the Week honors on February 9 after averaging 24 points and 11 rebounds per game while making 69.9 percent (16-of-23) of field goals and 76.2 percent (16-of-21) of free throws in games against UC Davis and Pacific ...
