Had a season-high 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from 3-point range against Cal Poly ... Scored 12 points twice, first against Pepperdine on 4-of-5 shooting from 3-point range and again against Green Bay on 4-of-5 shooting from 3-point range ... All but nine of made baskets were 3-pointers ... Had a season high four rebounds at UC Riverside, while grabbing three boards against Pacific and Green Bay ... Handed out a season-best two assists at Oregon.
2007-08 SEASON Named to the Big West Conference All-Freshman Team after averaging 7.7 points per game ... Appeared in all 31 games, starting 17 times ... Finished second on the team in 3-point shooting at 34.1 percent (44-of-129) ... The 7.7 points per game ranked second on the team ... Hit double digits in scoring 10 times ... Had a career-high 21 points at Pepperdine ... Was 4-of-7 from 3-point range and added a season-best six assists ... Set a new 49er freshman record with 44 3-pointers, breaking the old mark of 36 set by Jibril Hodges (2002-03) ... Tallied 18 points, and grabbed six rebounds, in the home win over UC Davis and had 18 points against UC Riverside ... Was 6-of-10 from 3-point range in that victory over the Highlanders ... Had 17 points against UC Irvine at the Big West Tournament (3-of-6 from 3-point range) ... Played well at the Cal/Golden Bear Classic, averaging 14.0 points per game ... Had 15 points vs. Cal and 13 vs. Bucknell ... Finished fourth on the team with 49 assists and second in steals with 21.
HIGH SCHOOL A first-team All-Class 6A selection after leading McKay High School to a 22-7 mark and a sixth-place finish at the Oregon 6A State Tournament ... Averaged 22.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game as a senior, making 45.0 percent from the field, 76.0 percent from the free throw line and 38.0 percent from 3-point range ... Team finished 11-1 in conference play, winning the Central Valley Conference title ... Ranked as the No. 1 point guard in Oregon by Northwesthoops.com ... Was the 2007 Central Valley Conference Player of the Year, first-team all-league and the Statesman Journal All-Region Boys Basketball Player of the Year ... Led the Royal Scots to the state tournament where he averaged 26.0 points per game, including a 37-point outburst against Portland Grant in the 5th-place contest ... Had a high game of 47 points his senior season against Redmond HS and had 43 points against North Eugene ... In the spring of 2007 played for Oregon in the 14th Annual Northwest Shootout in Portland, an all-star game featuring the top seniors in Oregon and Washington ... Although Washington won the game 96-82, led the Oregon squad with 15 points ... On its run to the Oregon 6A State Tournament in 2007, McKay defeated Redmond (37-27), Clackamas (65-53) and McMinnville (65-54) ... As a junior, averaged 20.0 points per game, was a first-team all-conference performer and honorable mention All-State ... Hit nine 3-pointers in a game as a junior, a school record, and then tied that mark during his senior season ... Team went 14-4 in league and advanced to the state playoffs in 2006 ... Was a second-team all-conference selection as a sophomore.
