LAMAR CC (2006-07) • Was the leading scorer and rebounder for Lamar • averaged 16.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting .485 (166-342) from the field, .405 (51-126) from three-point range and .750 (90-120) at the free throw line • led the Runnin' Lopes to a 24-7 record and a third place finish in Region IX • also added 33 assists and 22 steals • Lamar lost in the second round of the Region IX Tournament to Casper College (67-63) after defeating Northeast CC (80-68) in the opening round • selected first team All-Region and was team captain • was ranked 29th in the country by Jucojunction.com • selected as the NJCAA Division I National Player of the Week in mid-November after averaging 26.5 points per game and shooting .643 (18-28) from the field and .667 (6-9) from three-point range in victories over North Platte CC (29 points) and Eastern Arizona College (24 points) • was also a first team Academic All-Region selection.

MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL • As a prep at Mountain View High School, Johnson was named honorable mention All-State, first team all-region and first team all-league as a senior • he averaged 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in leading his team to a 17-6 record, a second place league finish and a trip to the Regionals • Johnson shot .596 from the field and hit .450 of his three-point attempts and was invited to play in the Washington 4A WIBCA All-Star Game • named to the Columbian "Super 5" team • as a junior he averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting .560 from the field and was an honorable mention All-GSHL selection • prep team went 18-5 his junior season • Johnson is the second all-time rebounder at Mountain View and is the school record holder for career blocked shots.
