North Alabama vs. LBSU (Homecoming)

Long Beach State Men's Basketball won 75-65 against North Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 10 in their home opener.

LONG BEACH STATE (2014-15): Played in all 33 games, starting in 12 … A member of the team’s regular rotation, averaged 24.5 minutes per game … Fourth on the team in scoring with a 7.0 points per game average … Led LBSU in scoring five times, tied for second-most on the team … Was the team’s leader in assists seven times, also second on the squad … Opened the season in the starting lineup … Long Beach State’s leading scorer with 14 points off of the bench in the win over Kansas State … Set a career high with four steals against Western Michigan … Scored 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting against Xavier in the Wooden Legacy … Led the Beach with 15 points at Stephen F. Austin … Was the 49ers’ leading scorer off the bench for the second time on the year with 13 points at Louisville … That led a three-game stretch of double-digit scoring for Jones … Set a career high with eight rebounds and four points against UC Santa Barbara … Led the 49ers at Cal Poly with 11 points, a career high six assists and five rebounds … LBSU’s leading scorer at Hawai’i with 12 points … Closed the season sixth in the Big West in free throw percentage at 82.1% on the season.

(2013-14): Played 32 games, starting eight in his first full season of competition … Led Long Beach State with a 37.3 3-point FG percentage … Averaged 5.8 points per game … Led LBSU with 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting against VCU in his first start …. That was the first of seven straight starts for the redshirt freshman … Made five assists in LBSU’s win over USC … Perfect from the field against Nevada, shooting 3-for-3 and 2-for-2 from 3-point range with five assists and no turnovers, scoring nine points … Scored 11 points in the Jan. 30 win at Hawai’i … Set a career high with seven rebounds along with nine points vs. CS Fullerton … Reached double-figures in back-to-back games against UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara … Scored 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting with three 3-pointers at CS Northridge.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas ... As a senior, averaged 20.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.7 steals per game ...
