Dirtbags, CSF, UCI Join Forces For High School Showcase Camp

Long Beach, Calif. - Big 3 of the West High School Showcase Camp
The Long Beach State baseball program is joining with Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine to provide a unique camp experience for high school students. The Big 3 of the West will give participants to meet with the coaches from all three programs along with seeing the facilities for all three programs. Over the course of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, January 17-19, high school athletes will spend a day with each program, meeting with Long Beach State's Mike Weathers, UC Irvine's Mike Gillespie and Cal State Fullerton's Dave Serrano along with the rest of each team's coaching staff. Participants will take part in drills and individual skill workouts each day, along with three games total, with one game occurring at each site. The camps will be taught in the same way that each of these nationally-ranked programs guide their own teams, and players will receive a shirt from each program.
