Annual Dirt vs. Bags series set for this weekend

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State baseball's fall practice slate concludes this weekend with the annual Dirt vs. Bags series, three intrasquad scrimmages held at Blair Field.
Admission is free for all three games. The series starts on Friday, November 16 at 2 p.m., and then the next two games will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.
Long Beach State begins the regular season on February 15, 2013, when the team travels to Vanderbilt for a three-game series. The home opener for the Dirtbags is on February 19, when Long Beach State hosts defending champions Arizona.
