LONG BEACH, Calif. - On Saturday, January 27, Long Beach State Baseball will be hosting the 2018 Dirtbags Fan Fest at Blair Field, which will help usher in a new season of Dirtbags Baseball. All Dirtbags fans are encouraged to attend the event, which will be free to the public.
The day will begin with a free kids' clinic at 9:30 a.m., available to any young ballplayers age 12 and under. Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m. and pre-registration is required for all participants. CLICK HERE to RSVP your child for the free clinic, and give them the opportunity to learn skills of the game from current Dirtbags players and coaches.
Starting at 11 a.m., the Dirtbags will take the field for an open practice, which will feature Q&A segments with current members of the team. Fans will get the chance to see how the team prepares during the offseason and also get to know some of the key players for the season ahead.
