PALO ALTO-- No. 9-ranked Long Beach State (17-8) continued their winless streak on their current road trip, dropping their fifth straight, at No. 13-ranked Stanford (13-7) 9-3 on Monday evening. Stanford scored nine runs over the middle innings to win the first regular season meeting since 1990.
