(2007): Solid reliever for the Dirtbags in 2007 appearing in 24 games out of the bullpen, posting a 1-0 record with one save and a 3.81 ERA... tossed 28.1 innings, giving up 18 hits... struck out 19 and walked 12 as opponents batted .180 against him... picked up his lone win against his home state, the University of Texas with three innings of one-run, one-hit ball on Februrary 9, striking out three... after giving up a solo home run, retired six in a row as the team won it in the ninth... retired all seven batters he faced against UCLA on February 20 in 2.1 shutout innings... got his lone save against the Bruins on March 13 in Westwood... pitched 2.1 shutout innings at UC Irvine on April 1... had a 3.12 ERA over his first 13 relief appearances through April 14... pitched 3.0 shutout innings of relief on elimination day of the NCAA Regional, tossing 1.2 shutout innings over Illinois-Chicago on June 3, before 1.1 no-hit innings against UCLA in the Regional Championship.
Kansas State: Redshirted the 2005 season at KSU and was a first baseman and an outfielder in 2006 appearing in six games, going 6-for-12 with five RBIs and two doubles... went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a double against North Dakota State on March 17... did not pitch at KSU.
High School: Was a three-year letterman at national power, Tomball High in Texas.... three-year starter was named all-conference and all-district, earning all-Houston area honors and being named to the Houston Coaches Association All-State team... batted .429 with a .636 slugging percentage in 2004 while going 4-0 with a1.60 ERA on the mound.
