Arizona: Appeared in six games with a 9.31 ERA over 9.2 innings in 2007... gave up 14 hits and struck out nine and walked seven for the 42-17 and Regional-bound Wildcats... opponents batted .318 against him....redshirted the 2006 season. High School: Two-year letterman in baseball and basketball at Dana Hills HS... was named the U.S. Army's Distinguished Athlete of the Year following his senior year... produced a 1.94 ERA and had three complete games as a senior, including a no-hitter... averaged 15 points and eight rebounds per game and led the league in blocks as a senior basketball player, leading his team to a school-record 20-8 record and second round appearance in the CIF playoffs. Personal: Son of Ken and Janet Lorin... father, Ken, is a Long Beach State graduate... majoring in sociology. |
