For the fifth time this season, LBSU dropped the final game of a series to come up one win shy of a sweep.

Long Beach State (2015): Appeared in 33 games, starting in 30, at first base and catcher … hit .286 on the year before missing the last month due to injury … also missed seven games at the end of March because of injury … hit five doubles with a home run while driving in eight runs … singled and scored on Feb. 14 against Michigan for his first hit of the season … drove in a run and went 1-for-4 in the finale against Michigan on Feb. 15 … started a four-game hit streak with a double against Utah Valley on Feb. 20 … singled in each of the next two games while also driving in a run … went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored against Wichita State on Mar. 1 … reached base in all four trips to the plate with two singles and two walks at Arizona State on Mar. 7 … doubled and scored against San Diego State on Mar. 10 … came off the bench and singled in his only AB to come back from injury on Apr. 2 against CSUN … hit his first career homer with a two-run shot at SDSU on Apr. 6, starting a four-game hit streak … singled at UC Irvine on Apr. 10 to start a series in which he went 5-for-11 … hit two singles on Apr. 11 before singling and doubling in the finale on Apr. 12 … went 2-for-4 and scored twice against UC Riverside on Apr. 19 … went 2-for-4 at Cal Poly on Apr. 24 … went 2-for-5 and drove in a run against UCLA on Apr. 28 … was 2-for-2, scored twice and had two stolen bases before leaving the game with an injury on May 1 against Hawai’i.
