Irvine Valley College: Played two seasons with the Lasers, primarily as a catcher ... Named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference after his sophomore season in 2017, and also earned Male Scholar Athlete of the Year honors at IVC ... Had a breakout year as a sophomore, when he hit a team-best .368, scored 25 runs while driving in 21 more, and also collected three home runs ... He also led the team with a .425 on-base percentage.

Mission Viejo High School: A two-year varsity letterwinner with the Diablos, winning a CIF Southern Section Division 2 title as a senior in 2015 ... Hit .269 as a senior with 18 runs scored, 15 RBIs and seven doubles in 36 games played ... Helped the Diablos to the 2015 CIF-SS Division 2 championship ... Also spent two years on varsity as a wrestler, qualifying for the 2014 CIF Duals competition.
