LBSU track & field/cross country set to hold 2011 banquet on Jan. 14

LONG BEACH - Long Beach State will celebrate and honor its 2011 men's and women's track & field/cross country teams' accomplishments at its annual postseason banquet on Saturday, Jan. 14, at The Grand. The awards ceremony is sponsored by Asics America.
The 49ers will look back at a number of highlights from the past year, including the Men's Track & Field Big West title, Rosa Del Toro's individual Big West Cross Country championship and the women's cross country team finishing second at the conference meet. LBSU also had multiple All-Americans, individual Big West Outdoor champions and MPSF Indoor champions.
The banquet will get underway with registration at 12:30 p.m. and a social at 1 p.m. Lunch will follow at 1:30 p.m., while the awards program is set to start at 2:30 p.m. The cost per person is $35.
Registration for the banquet can be done online by clicking here, or by sending in the information on the attached flyer with payment. The deadline to RSVP is Jan. 9.
