Women's 5K - 5:40 p.m.
Men's 8K - 6:20 p.m.

LONG BEACH -
The Long Beach State men's and women's cross country teams travel to Santa Clarita on Friday for the Pac-12 Preview hosted by UCLA.

The women's 5,000-meter race will begin at 5:40 p.m., while the men's 8K will start at 6:20 p.m. Both meets will take place at the Robinson Ranch Golf.

LBSU will go up against teams from UC Davis, UCLA, Cal Poly, Clemson, Northern Arizona, Texas (women), Arizona State (men) and Sacramento State (men).  On the men's side, the 49ers will face three teams that are ranked nationally as Northern Arizona is ranked 18th, while New Mexico is 24th and host UCLA is 27th.  In the women's competition, the 49ers will compete with two teams ranked nationally as New Mexico comes in 24th and Texas in 27th.

The men's team will be represented by Tim Bergstrom, Chris Enriquez, Bret Hasvold, Nick Kelley, Jared Long, Chris Low and Arturo Trejo. On the women's side, the 49ers will feature Alisia Barajas, Jessica Barnard, Madison D'Ornellas, Prism Garcia, Taylor Goto, Nina Moore, Annie Randall, Michelle Thompson and Alexis Trujillo.


 

 

This will be the third meet of the season for both men's and women's teams as the 49ers last competed two weeks ago at the addidas/UC Irvine Invitational in Irvine. The women's team placed sixth out of 14 teams (169 points) and the men finished in eighth out of 19 teams (238 points).
