Long Beach State's annual fundraising gala, Jewels of the Night, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. Jewels of the Night is the marquee event for generating revenue to support the more than 300 Long Beach State student-athletes in their quest to realize both their academic and athletic ambitions.

2013: Competed in four events for the 49ers ... Posted a personal best in the 8K at the NCAA Inter-Regional Jamboree in Sacramento in a time of 25:15 ... Finished in 21st place at the Big West Conference Championships 8K in San Luis Obispo with a time of 26:38.5 ... Recorded a personal best in the 10K at the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento of 32:39.
2012: Ran in three events for LBSU ... Recorded a personal best in the 8K at the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, Calif., with a time of 26:20.3 (137th) ... Covered the 10K course at the NCAA West Regional in Seattle, Wash. in a time of 33:30 (170th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in both cross country and track at El Toro High School ... Led the track squad to the league title in 2010 ... Earned All-South Coast League and all-county honors in cross country as a senior.
PERSONAL: Competed on the 49er track & field team in 2012 ... Majoring in mechanical engineering.
