Long Beach State sophomore Kevin Ramirez finished in 30th place at the 34th UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday morning at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course in Riverside. Sophomore Kathleen Dunne was the top runner for the 49er women, finishing the 6K course in 64th with a time of 22:35.3.
The Long Beach State men's and women's cross country teams heads to the Inland Empire for the 34th UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course. The women's 5000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m., while the men's 8K is slated to start at 9:15 a.m.

The LBSU men's squad captured the team title with 36 points, with sophomore Emilio Nunez leading the way finishing in second.
