Long Beach State track and field/cross country will honor its 2009 men's and women's teams, in addition to a number of outstanding individual performers at its annual postseason banquet on Saturday, Jan. 23, at The Grand. The awards ceremony is sponsored by Asics America. (more)

49ers close out season at NCAA West Regional

The Long Beach State cross country team concluded the 2009 season at the NCAA West Regional in Eugene, Ore. as both men's and women's teams finish in 14th place at the Springfield Country Club. The men's team finished with 431 points while the women's squad came in with 403 points. (more)

49er Cross Country prepares for NCAA West Regional

The Long Beach State cross country team prepares for the NCAA West Regional hosted by the University of Oregon this Saturday, Nov. 14, as they travel to Eugene, Ore. The men's 10,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m., while the women's 6,000-meters is slated for a 10:45 a.m. start. ... (more)

Barclay earns All-Big West Conference Honors

Long Beach State cross country senior Missy Barclay was named to the All-Big West Conference team for her performance this past weekend in Riverside at the Big West Championships after she finished in eighth place with a time of 21:01. (more)
