04/28/2012 49ers have solid showing at Steve Scott Invite, wrap up action at Triton InviteWoodruff claims runner-up honors in javelin at Triton Invite 03/03/2012 Woodruff registers huge personal record at Beach Classic49ers notch six individual victories in first home meet 02/10/2012 49ers kick off action in four events at Flotrack Husky ClassicSteven DeCastro notched a lifetime best in the 5000m 2011: Redshirted. 2010: Advanced to the finals of the 1500-meter run at the Big West Championships ... Finished 11th overall with a time of 4:59.53 ... Established a season-low 4:43.31 at the Steve Scott Invitational ... Placed in the top 10 in four of the five 1500m races she ran on the year ... Also competed in the 5000m and 10000m ... Landed among the 49ers' all-time top 10 in the mile (4:59.85) and the 3000m (10:08.16) during the indoor season. High School: Lettered four years in cross country and track and field at Saugus High School ... Led the track squad to four consecutive Foothill League titles and a runner-up finish at the CIF finals ... League champion in the 800-meter run as a freshman and junior ... Four-time all-league performer ... Also garnered All-CIF and all-state honors ... Helped the cross country team to three state championships and four league titles.
