LBSU track & field wraps up action at Ben Brown Invitational

Del Toro registers fourth-fastest 5000m time in school history

2012: Competed primarily in the 5000m ... Finished third in his heat at the Ben Brown Invitational with a lifetime-best 15:12.02 ... Added a 10th-place showing at the UCI Spring Break Invitational ... Came in 14th overall in the 10000m at the Big West Championships ... Registered a personal-record 9:06.63 in the 3000m to place seventh at the Big West Challenge.

2011: Ran the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m during the outdoor season ... Finished 16th overall in the 5000m at the Steve Scott Invitational (15:41.49).

2010: Did not compete.

2009: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered two years in cross country and one year in track at El Camino Real High School ... Helped the Conquistadors to a second-place finish at the Los Angeles City Section championships ... Won the cross country city title in 2007 ... Was also the two-mile champion.

Personal: Member of the 49er cross country team ... Double majoring in political science and communication studies.
