Jason Reyes enters his first season as the director of operations for the Long Beach State track & field program.
Reyes is also currently the head coach of the varsity softball team at Bellflower High School and is an assistant softball coach at Whittier College. He has been coaching at the high school level for the last four years, making one CIF playoff appearance.
Reyes was previously an intern at Long Beach State, working as a student manager for the 49er softball team and as an assistant to the senior associate athletic director in the spring of 2013.
Reyes earned his bachelor's degree in recreation and leisure studies and a certificate in administration of campus recreational sports supervision at Long Beach State. He has plans to continue his education at LBSU by enrolling in the master's program for coaching and student-athlete development.
