Career: Leaves Long Beach State ranked third in the decathlon with a lifetime-best 7,296 points.
2014 (Senior): Big West champion in the decathlon ... Tied for first in the high jump (6-02.25), while finishing second in the 110m hurdles (14.98), discus (132-03), 1500m (4:40.78) and the 400m (50.49) ... Established a personal-best 164-04 in the javelin.
2013 (Junior): All-Big West performer ... Compiled a personal-record 7,296 points to earn runner-up honors in the Big West Decathlon ... That mark ranks third in school history ... Was also a finalist in the 110m hurdles at the conference championships where he finished sixth in a lifetime-best 14.67 seconds ... Competed in one meet during the indoor season.
2012 (Redshirt): Appeared in one meet during the outdoor campaign ... Competed in the high jump, 110m hurdles and discus at the season-opening Beach Classic ... Tied for fourth in the high jump (6-03.5) and finished sixth in the 110m hurdles (14.95) ... Also took part in the heptathlon at the MPSF Championships during the indoor season ... Tied for first in the 60m hurdles (8.36) and tied for second in the high jump (6-07).
Junior College: Competed on the track and field team at Moorpark College in 2009 and 2011 ... Earned All-America honors after finishing second in the 2011 state decathlon with 6,614 points ... Also took third in the Southern California decathlon and fourth in the high hurdles at the WSC Championships ... Placed eighth overall at the So Cal Championships as a freshman.
