Steve Cardinalli is in his second season as an assistant coach at The Beach as he will work primarily with the distance program.
Cardinalli competed on both the cross country and track teams at Long Beach State. He established a personal-best 28:15 in the 8K at the 2006 Titan Invitational. He also helped the men's cross country squad to a 10th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional championships in 2005.
A Stockton, Calif., native, Cardinalli was a scholar-athlete and also served as the president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at LBSU. He graduated with a degree in business in 2007 and is currently working toward his master's in business administration.
