Ten LBSU Indoor Track & Field Athletes Earn MPSF All-Academic Recognition

Long Beach State had a total of 10 student-athletes earn MPSF All-Academic recognition for the 2018 Indoor Track & Field season.

Pole Vault: 12-09.50 (6th all-time)

Pole Vault: 11-00.75

2017 (Junior): Recorded a personal best of 12-09.50 in the pole vault at the Triton Invitational, good for sixth all-time in school history … During the indoor season, had her season-best mark in the pole vault at the MPSF Championships, recording a 11-00.75 … Earned MPSF and Big West All-Academic honors.

2016 (Sophomore): Qualified for the Big West Championships in the pole vault ... Cleared a season-best 11-10 to place 15th overall ... Tied for third at the Big West Challenge ... Reached 11-07.75 at the Steve Scott Invitational ... Named to the Big West All-Academic Team ... Competed in one indoor meet ... Tied for 29th in the pole vault at the UW Invitational (11-00.75).

2015 (Freshman): Big West qualifier in the pole vault ... Established a lifetime-best 11-11.75 at the Steve Scott Invitational ... Cleared 11-07.75 to finish third at the California Collegiate Invitational ... Matched that height for a fourth-place showing at the UCSD Triton Invitational ... Competed in one indoor meet but did not record a height.

High School: Lettered four years at Coronado High School ... Back-to-back league champion in the pole vault (2013-14) ... Garnered all-league honors both years ... Three-time CIF-San Diego Section finalist ... Posted top-10 finishes as a sophomore and junior ... Set a school-record at 11-07 ... Earned scholar-athlete recognition from the San Diego Union Tribune ... Also received the Rotary Scholar-Athlete Award and was named her school's top senior athlete in 2014 ... Four-year member of the cheer squad.
