What is the Beach Athletic Club?
The Beach Athletic Club is the booster club for every Long Beach State Athletics sport program. The BAC works with each head coach to raise money to support his or her team operating budgets, upgrade and enhance facilities, and secure legacy gifts in support of endowments. The BAC is the first point of access for all stakeholders seeking access to the program, whether it is to purchase a ticket, game day parking, or join a team for a donor trip.
Where does my money go?
Your gifts to the Beach Athletic Club support the greatest needs and highest priorities of the Athletics Department, creating an immediate and positive impact for our student-athletes. Areas such as student-athlete tuition, room and board, academic support, health and nutrition and team travel are a few examples of how your gifts are put to work.
How do I get parking for games held on campus?

Are contributions to Beach Athletic Club tax deductible?
Yes. Gifts go through the Long Beach State University (CSULB) Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3, which issues an official tax receipt to the donors.
Per IRS regulations, all memberships offering premium seating may only be deducted at 80% after the value of benefits is subtracted. All donations to Beach Athletic Club membership fall within this regulation and will be receipted from the CSULB Foundation accordingly.
Beach Athletic Club members have the option to decline all benefits. By declining benefits, a donor gives up the right to all benefits provided for that membership, including parking and Beach Athletic Club seating for Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, as well as Men's and Women's Volleyball. A donor declining all benefits will be receipted at 100% charitable.
Can gifts be restricted to a specific sport?
Gifts made to Beach Athletic Club support all 19 men's and women's intercollegiate sport teams at Long Beach State University. Donors can also support a specific athletic program, which also qualifies you for Beach Athletic Club benefits based on giving level.
Are there payment plans and options available?
When making an online contribution, donors may select the option on the giving form to "Start a Recurring Gift". Recurring donations may be scheduled on a monthly basis over a one year term. For a longer term gift or customized arrangements, please contact the Beach Athletic Club staff to discuss options available through pledging and other methods.
