Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State will once again host A Toast To Women's Athletics, one of athletics' largest fundraisers, on Wednesday, October 11. The event supports the nearly 200 female student-athletes who compete annually for Long Beach State.
This year's event will be held at the Centre at Sycamore Plaza, and begins at 6 p.m. in the evening. In addition to the multiple wine tasting stations and hors d'oeuvres which are at the center of the event, a wide variety of tremendous auction items will be available, and many of the current and former student-athletes who have benefitted from LBSU scholarships will be in attendance.
Those wishing to provide more support than just attending have the ability to do so. Auction items are still being accepted, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Tickets are priced at $85, but young alums (2007-2017) will be welcomed with a special entry price of only $50.
For more information on A Toast To Women's Athletics or to purchase tickets over the phone, please contact Kellyn Brawley at (562) 985-8743.
Blair Field Project
The arms race refers to the escalating investments being made in college athletic facilities throughout the country. Some universities invest millions in an effort to secure bragging rights. While we are donor centric and will respond appropriately to interest and capacity for any of our facilities, we have three major facility campaigns at present.
