Tantalum Cup

Goal and purpose
CHAMPS/Life Skills has a program called THE TANTALUM "CUP", which is a competitive game that is played by all the teams. This program gives the student-athletes a chance to compete for points in various life skills categories. These categories focus on developing the individual, leadership, teamwork, supporting other athletes, and academic achievement. It's used to promote competition and participation in various aspects of student-athlete life. The Tantalum Cup is a way for the competitive side of our athletes to be used towards something other than just athletic participation and more in developing their Life Skills. The winning team is announced at the end of the spring semester each year. The winning team is honored with the perpetuating Tantalum Cup and additional incentives.
