Renew and reaffirm former student-athlete pride in Long Beach State Athletics
Keep former student-athletes current on the happenings at their Alma Mater
Objectives
Create and maintain an online directory containing former student-athlete information
Provide at least one individual sport and one all-sport alumni event each year
Promote job placement of graduating student-athletes with former student-athletes throughout the country
Host anniversary celebrations to recognize significant accomplishments, such as national championships, Olympic Game participation, etc.
Host team reunions
Work with the CHAMPS/Life Skills and the Bickerstaff Center for Student-Athlete Academic Services to involve former student-athletes in current student-athlete focused activities such as the etiquette dinner, mentoring, tutoring, Heads Up, and etc.
Update former student-athletes on Long Beach State Athletic improvements through athletic facility tours, Inside Athletics E-Newsletter, and other communications
Encourage all former athletes to become members of the 49er Athletic Club
