Note to Visiting Athletic Trainer


The Long Beach State athletic training staff would like to welcome you and your team to our campus for the upcoming season. The main athletic training room is located in the Kinesiology/Physical Education building (KPE) room #86 across from the pool. This is a fully functional athletic training room. Any treatment, rehabilitation and taping needs for team practices are done at the main athletic training room. The main athletic training room serves as the game day athletic training facility for Water Polo, Soccer, Softball, Track / Cross Country and Tennis.

The Walter Pyramid and the Blair Field athletic training facilities serve as game day satellite facilities. The Walter Pyramid is a fully functional athletic training room, located on the south side of the pyramid. This facility is primarily used for all Men's/ Women's Basketball and Men's/Women's Volleyball games. Blair Field has a hydrocollator and ice for use of baseball games.

To ensure your team's needs are fully accommodated, please inform us in advance of any specific. If an athletic training student is traveling with your team please provide a detailed note explaining modality treatment required.
