Jewels of the Night is the marquee event for generating revenue to support the more than 300 Long Beach State student-athletes in their quest to realize both their academic and athletic ambitions.

Summer School Athletics Aid Information
Long Beach State offers summer school scholarships for student athletes at the institution's discretion. These scholarships are to help individuals continue progressing towards NCAA eligibility with the ultimate goal of graduation. The amount of summer scholarship awarded is determined on a case-by-case basis. Summer scholarships may include any or all of these items: on or off-campus room and board, tuition and fees, and books. Per NCAA rules a student athlete's summer scholarship may not exceed the percentage of their academic year scholarship and may only be provided for classes taken at Long Beach State.
