The Program The Long Beach State Athletic Golf Program has a long-standing tradition of excellence. The Men's and Women's teams have made a combined 8 NCAA tournament appearances, won 9 conference championships, and produced three current PGA Tour professionals. Under the leadership of 1st year coach, Bill Poutre, the men's team currently holds the single season stroke average record, and has improved 40 spots in the national rankings. Also, Sue Ewart, long-time women's coach, just led her team to their first ever Big West Conference Championship. |
