Assistant Manager of Event Operations

Oscar Hernandez first came to Long Beach State in 2004 and remains today as the Assistant Manager of Event Operations. Hernandez is the event manager for many of the events surrounding Long Beach State's sports.

Hernandez's duties primarily include managing events for the women's volleyball, sand volleyball, softball and men's basketball teams. He organizes and assigns event staff for all competitions.

Hernandez first came to the Beach in 2004 as a student working in LBSU's event staff. He was elevated into a full-time event management position in 2007 and has remained with the Beach.

Sophomore Natalia Munoz won the singles championship in the top flight of the UNLV Fall Invitational. Along the way Munoz picked up her first career win over a ranked opponent, defeating No. 83 Aiwen Zhu of UNLV in the semifinals, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6.
