Assistant Athletics Director, Facilities, Operations, and Event Manage

Mike Habura was hired in 2017 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities, Operations and Event Management. Habura is responsible for management of the Walter Pyramid, scheduling for all athletics facilities and soliciting and working with third party events.

Habura comes to the Beach with a solid background in facilities management, working in similar capacities at both UC Santa Barbara and Pacific. At UCSB, Habura was the facility operations manager for all recreation facilities, and at Pacific, he operated in a similar role as to his current position following a promotion, handling external rentals while serving as the game manager for multiple sports at Pacific.

A graduate of Carthage College, Habura also earned his master’s degree at Pacific while concurrently working for the department.
