Sr. Associate Athletics Director - Capital Enhancements, Facilities, Operations and Event Management

Senior Associate AD Mark Edrington has spent over 20 years in the employ of Long Beach State, working currently as the General Manager of the Walter Pyramid and an Associate Athletics Director. Among Edrington's duties are the oversight of all of LBSU's facilities, including the Walter Pyramid, Blair Field, George Allen Field, Rhodes Tennis Center, Jack Rose Track, 49er Softball Complex, and the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center. Edrington is also the sports supervisor for both women's soccer and men's volleyball.

Edrington is also in charge of all event management and operations relating to athletics, and is the driving force for implementation of all athletics capital improvement projects. Starting his career with Long Beach State after graduating from the University, Edrington has worked as the both the Director of Ticketing and Director of Event Management as well as the Assistant AD for Marketing and Sales during his time at the Beach.Mark is a member of the International Association of Venue Managers and is a graduate of the Sports Management Institute.
