“The strength and conditioning program at Long Beach State goes beyond the training programs that are implemented in the weight room . Student athletes are challenged both mentally and physically on a daily basis. They are continually presented with challenges in an effort to promote growth both as a person and an athlete. We not only preach attitude, effort, and concentration within our arena, but with disciplines that are done on a DAILY basis to promote habit and to promote positive change that will help the student athlete well beyond athletics.”
