HOME OF LONG BEACH STATE SOCCER

George Allen Field has served as the home to Long Beach State women's soccer ever since the program's reinstatement in 1998, and has played host to numerous Big West Tournament games in addition to the team's regular season slate. Over that time, the 49ers have won three Big West regular season championships, and have advance to the NCAA Tournament twice, most recently in 2010 after winning the Big West Tournament.

The field is named after Hall of Fame football coach George Allen, who was the next-to-last football coach at Long Beach State and led the 49ers to their last winning season prior to his death in 1990. The field has a capacity of 1,000, and also serves as the home for the men's soccer club program.

The field has also been used in a number of television and movie productions, most notably in the conclusion of the American Pie trilogy, American Wedding.
