CAMP PHILOSOPHY

"Our camps are staffed by the Long Beach State coaches and players. We pride oursevles in playing the game the right way. The "Dirtbags" way. It is this philosophy and tradition that has led Long Beach State to be one of the top college baseball programs in the country."

The Long Beach State baseball camps offer fundamentals in throwing, hitting, bunting, fielding mechanics, outfield play, base-running and pitching. Afternoon scrimmages will help each participant develop their new skills and elevate their level of play. Camp space will be limited to help the coach to camper ratio. The staff prides itself in hands on instruction and making each camper enjoy the "Dirtbag experience."
